Ruth Ann Branham

Mrs. Ruth Ann Branham, age 76, of Hanover, Indiana, entered this life on November 4, 1941, in Jessamine County, Kentucky. She was the loving daughter of the late John and Irene Warner Sanders. She was raised by her stepmother, Ruby Maxine Gates Sanders. She moved to Jefferson County, Indiana, at the age of 14 and attended school there.

On April 9, 1960, she was united in marriage to William "Bill" G. Branham at the Salvation Army in Madison, Indiana. This happy union of 45 years was blessed with daughters, Debbie and Denise, and a son, John Edward. She retired after 43 years of service at Grote Industries where she was an assembler.

Ruth enjoyed puzzles, cross stitching, and her dog, Casper. She was awaiting the birth of her 13th great-grandchild. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Madison.

Ruth died on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 7:34 a.m. at Major Hospital in Shelbyville, Indiana. Ruth will be missed by her loving daughters, Denise Branham and her fiancee', Kimiko Hayden of Bluffton, Indiana; Debbie Branham Coffey of Vevay, Indiana; her loving son, John Edward Branham, and his companion, Michele Britt of Shelbyville, Indiana; her sisters, Frances "Cricket" Walston of Macon, Georgia, Martha Hay of Camby, Indiana; her loving grandchildren, Andrea, Eva, Savannah, Cassie, Shawn, Ashley, and Chelsea; 12 great-grandchildren; her step grandchildren, Joshua and Taylor; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, John C. Sanders, her mother, Ruby Maxine Sanders, her stepmother, Ruby Maxine Gates Sanders, and her beloved husband of 45 years, William G. "Bill" Branham, who died on January 23, 2005.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 11, 2018, at 1 p.m., by Bishop Richard Johnson at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, 1113 Michigan Road in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, 9306 North US 421 near Madison, Indiana.

Friends may visit Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana, and Monday from noon until time of the service at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, 1113 Michigan Road in Madison, Indiana.
