Classic and modern cars will fill up Shelbyville’s Kennedy Park on Sunday as part of the Shelby Shifters Classic Car Show.

Registration runs from 8 to 11 a.m. with a cost of $15. Awards start at 3 p.m.

“Cars, motorcycles ... anything, if you’ve got it, we like to see it,” said Scott Headlee.

There will be a 50/50 cash drawing, drawings for gas cards for registered participants, dash plaques to the first 300 entries, awards to top 75, Best of Show and Specialty Awards.

The show is open to any year vehicle, including motorcycles.

All proceeds go to the Blue River Career Center in Shelbyville, the Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department and to community projects.

This is the 21st year for the event, according to Headlee. Over 400 cars entered in 2017 with more than 2,000 car enthusiasts in attendance.

“Any car you want to enter, bring it,” reiterated Headlee.

A DJ will entertain the crowd in attendance and food will be on site.
