Jill Donnelly keynote speaker for JJ Dinner

The Shelby County Democrats JJ Dinner is at 7 p.m. on Sept. 19 at the Knights of Columbus in Shelbyville.

Tickets are available for $25 per person at Sharp Trophies By Mack, 49 E. Washington St. in Shelbyville, or call Bob Williams at 317-512-6579.

Doors will open at the Knights of Columbus, 413 E. South St., at 6:15 p.m. with dinner to follow at 7 p.m.

There will be a cash bar, raffles and a silent auction.

State and local candidates will be in attendance. The keynote speaker is Jill Donnelly.

Donnelly graduated from John Adams High School and the University of Notre Dame, where she met her husband, U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly. 

Jill Donnelly has been employed at Notre Dame since 1998 and is currently the Regional Director of Development.

She is a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary and serves her community on the boards of the Center for the Homeless and Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build. 

Joe and Jill Donnelly live in Granger, Indiana, and have two children, Molly and Joe Jr.
