The 14th annual D3football.com All-Region Teams were announced on Tuesday. Triton Central graduate and Manchester University senior Dillon Nelson was named to the All-North Region First Team as a safety. 

Nelson finished with 63 tackles and six interceptions in 10 games this past season. 

Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools, who were contacted multiple times as the season wound down to remind them to make their players eligible. A total of 1,029 players were nominated.

All-Region teams were selected in balloting by sports information directors in each region and D3football.com staff. All players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for the D3football.com All-America Team. The 2018 D3football.com All-America team will be announced Dec. 14 at the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl.

Coach of the Year: Ralph Isernia, RPI

Defensive Player of the Year: Frankie Feaster, DE, Muhlenberg

Coach of the Year: Jim Margraff, Johns Hopkins

Offensive Player of the Year: Broc Rutter, QB, North Central (Ill.)

Defensive Player of the Year: Louis Berry, CB, Mount Union

Coach of the Year: Larry Kindbom, Washington U.

Offensive Player of the Year: Jackson Erdmann, QB, St. John's

Defensive Player of the Year: Harry Henschler, DE, UW-Whitewater

Coach of the Year: Gary Fasching, St. John's
