Felling honored for setting new scoring record

Triton Central senior guard Wyatt Felling was honored for breaking the all-time scoring record, formerly held by Mike Wells, Tuesday during TC’s contest with Eastern Hancock.

The Tigers (7-10) beat the Royals 66-54. Felling finished the game with 34 points.

Felling broke the scoring mark with a 51-point game against Indiana Math & Science on Jan. 23. He also broke the school record for free throws made (20) that evening.

SW rolls past Hauser

The Southwestern boys’ basketball team earned a 66-57 win over MHC foe Hauser on Tuesday.

Anick Hartsell led the Spartans with 29 points. Kaleb Hodson and Blake McClure added 14 and 12 points, respectively.

SW is now 10-8 this season. The team has won five games in a row.

MT improves to 16-3

The Morristown boys’ basketball team improved to 16-3 with a 71-60 win over Greenwood Christian on Tuesday.

The Yellow Jackets have now won eight consecutive games.
