Ryan Mack

Former Shelbyville High School boys basketball coach Ryan Mack was arrested Monday and charged with Theft and Corrupt Business Influence.

Ryan Mack abruptly resigned as Shelbyville High School’s assistant athletic director and boys basketball coach on Jan. 14, 2020. Four months later, Mack was arrested and charged with six counts of Theft and one count of Corrupt Business Influence.

An investigation found Mack had been reimbursed by the Golden Bear Booster Club a total of $14,767.91 for work on a new boys basketball lockerroom. It is suspected the funds were used by Mack to fuel his gambling addiction.
