kicks off 2022 sessionSenators Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) and Michael Crider (R-Greenfield) gathered with fellow legislators Tuesday at the Statehouse for Organization Day – the ceremonial start of the Indiana General Assembly.

“I’m eager to continue working with other legislators on the important issues that people in rural Indiana face,” Leising said. “I look forward to working on many important bills, especially topics relating to agriculture, public health, and education. As always, the needs of my Senate District will guide my decisions at the Statehouse.”

Crider said he looks forward to representing his constituents.

“As the legislative session gets underway, I look forward to another year of representing the concerns of those in District 28,” Crider said. “My colleagues and I will be looking at a number of different issues affecting our state and identifying improvements that will have a positive impact on our community.”
