Shelby County Chamber of Commerce expects full house for first luncheon of 2018

Staff report

The January Networking Luncheon for the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce is just about booked up and organizers are expecting a full house for today’s lunch.

The luncheon, which will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the Knights of Columbus in Shelbyville, will feature a presentation on accomplishments in 2017 by last year’s president, Greg Gerline, as well as initiatives for this year by incoming president, Amy Larrison.

Events Coordinator Courtney Chapella said on Tuesday afternoon that two spots remained open. But she said the Chamber was not actively pursuing filling out those spots because they didn’t want to overbook.

The Chamber luncheon takes place each month and provides a way to network with other chamber members. The cost to register was $12 before Monday and is now $15.
