Car accident, 9:25 a.m., E. McKay Road. An Oldsmobile Alero, driven by John L. Linton, of Shelbyville, and a Honda Civic, driven by Ivan Gutierrez Arellano, of Shelbyville, were in an accident. Linton told Shelbyville police he was approaching a flashing stop light at South Riley Highway and while slowing to a stop behind the Honda, papers from the passenger’s side front seat fell off. He aid he bent over to collected the papers and rolled forward, colliding with the rear bumper.

Gutierrez Arellano said he was approaching the flashing stop light and stopped in traffic when the Oldsmobile collided from behind.

The Oldsmobile had damage to the front bumper, grill and hood. The Honda had damage to the rear bumper.


Car accident, 1:21 p.m., Amos Road. A Toyota RAV4, driven by Andrew W. Stahl, of Draper, Utah, and a Ford Fusion, driven by April A. Phelps, of Edinburgh, were in an accident. Stahl told. Shelbyville police he was coming out of a parking lot onto Hemlock Street and while crossing the street, he thought the Ford was turning at the same time onto Hemlock Street when the two collided.

The Toyota had damage to the passenger’s side front fender, hood, grill, bumper and headlight unit. The Ford had damage to the front driver’s side bumper, hood, grill, and fenders.

Drew E. Farmer, 35, Shelbyville, 6:44 p.m., operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment.


Robert E. Mount, 43, Shelbyville, 11:11 a.m., domestic battery.

Sierra F. Short, 20, Shelbyville, 7:05 p.m., battery by bodily waste, battery on law enforcement, intimidation, resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct (2 counts), battery resulting in bodily injury and criminal mischief.

Shana M. Caine, 29, Shelbyville, 9:59 p.m., dealing in a schedule I, II or III controlled substance in the amount of at least 10 but less than 28 grams, possession of meth and probation hold.

Lance Davidson Jr., 27, Shelbyville, 10:23 p.m., dealing in a schedule I, II or III controlled substance in the amount of at least 10 but less than 28 grams.

Kenneth W. Ehrenberg III, 31, Shelbyville, 10:45 p.m., possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle.


Cynthia N. Vanover, 41, Shelbyville, 1:47 a.m., residential entry.

Richard A. Dyer, 37, Milroy, 10:26 a.m., court order probation violation.

Tyler A. Vandiver, 20, Boggstown, 11:05 a.m., criminal confinement, illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage and interference with the reporting of a crime.
