Car accident, 4:26 p.m., E. Hendricks St. A Jeep Patriot, driven by Clarence J. Come, of Shelbyville, and a Jeep Patriot, driven by Paula Christmas, of Morristown, were in an accident. Come told Shelbyville police he was stopped at the stop sign at the railroad tracks when the other Jeep collided from behind. He said he believed the other driver was following too closely.

Christmas said she approached the stop sign and saw the other Jeep was stopped. She said she also stopped and they sat there for a minute. She then thought the other Jeep started to move.

Before she realized it had not moved, she collided from behind.

A passenger in the Jeep driven by Come had pain in her neck and was taken to the hospital.

Cody Mathis, 30, Shelbyville, 6:49 p.m., hold for another jurisdiction.

Jadan R. West, 24, Big Clifty, Ky., 8:22 p.m., failure to appear.

Lorita L. Stofleth, 53, Shelbyville, 10:23 p.m., operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years and operating a vehicle with an ACE of .08 or more-first offense.
