City Council

The Shelbyville Common Council held a “virtual meeting” Wednesday morning using online technology to limit the number of people in the City Hall chamber room.

With the need for a special meeting but a ban in place on gatherings, the Shelbyville Common Council held its first “virtual meeting” Wednesday morning at City Hall.

Only council president Rob Nolley, Shelbyville mayor Tom DeBaun and city clerk-treasurer Scott Asher were in the Chamber Room at City Hall. Council members Joanne Bowen, Nathan Willis, Scott Furgeson, Tyson Conrady and Brian Asher logged on from outside City Hall. Councilman Mike Johnson was unavailable for the meeting.
