Imogene “Jean” Pribble, 90, of Fountaintown, passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020, at Morristown Manor.
She was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Bloomfield, Indiana, to Howard Sparks and Ima (Hoke) Sparks. She married Dallas Pribble on Sept. 3, 1955, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 1992.
Mrs. Pribble is survived by her sons, Curtis (Janet) Pribble of Fairland, Gary (Sue) Pribble of Fountaintown, and Roy (Jill) Pribble of New Palestine; her daughter, Jackie (Brian) Shearer of Shelbyville; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dallas “Jack”; her daughter, Becky Howell; her grandson, Richard Pribble; one brother and four sisters.
She attended Arsenal High School. She worked at Sears for 40 years.
Mrs. Pribble attended Shelbyville Community Church. She enjoyed boating, camping and traveling. She was an avid mathematician. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, Indiana (46176).
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Merry Popplewell officiating.
Burial will be in Fountaintown Cemetery.
