The Shelbyville Boys and Girls Track and Field teams traveled to Westfield to compete against the host and Crown Point on Tuesday night.

In the first outdoor meet of the year, Megan Eads won the long jump and Melea Terrell won the high jump.

Sam Price for the boys finished second in the 400 and third in the 200.

Ethan Lambert finished second in the discus and Jett Kolls finished fourth.

Marlee Rice finished third in the high jump. Eads finished third in the 100, while Anita Azeneth Mejia-Caballero finished third in the 400. Eddie Carrizalez finished fourth in the intermediate hurdles.

The Golden Bears started of the season with lots of personal records (PR) from the distance squad in Westfield.
