On Wednesday night, Southwestern and Jac-Cen-Del squared off in the Edinburgh sectional with their seasons on the line. After making a Semi-State run in 2021-22, the Eagles returned some talented players that now are also experienced in what it takes to make a deep run.
Notably, the Eagles are led by Devin Grieshop and Matt Dickman. Grieshop is 6’7” and Dickman is 6’5”. Both players are incredibly athletic and will throw down a slam dunk if presented the opportunity. The size and athleticism of the Jac-Cen-Del leaders would prove to be problematic for the Spartans on both ends of the court.
