Indiana Grand has updated its paddock to include rubberized pavers as well as new Duralock boundary fencing.

Indiana Grand Racing & Casino will kick off its 18th season of racing Monday with 11 races on the 2020 opening day program. A total of nine Thoroughbred and two Quarter Horse races are slated for the racing card. First post is 2:20 p.m.

Featured on the card is a $32,500 Allowance Optional Claiming event running one mile. The race is one of three scheduled over the turf course. Heading the list of entrants in the 11-horse lineup is West Sider from the Bret Calhoun Stable. The three-year-old son of Uncle Mo made his last start at Santa Anita over the turf in March and has turned in some impressive works in Kentucky recently.
