Shelbyville swimmers close out season with state appearance

Shelbyville’s 200-yard freestyle relay team of Marlee Rice (pictured), Addi Weaver, Miriam Garringer and Karissa Hamilton placed 14th in the state prelims in their heat on Friday at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis. Hamilton also took 14th place in the first of two heats in the prelims of the 50-yard freestyle.
