After receiving a bye in the first round of the tournament, the Triton Central boys basketball team played its first game of the sectional against Indianapolis Riverside.
The Tigers shot out of the gate on offense, giving them a 23-14 lead after one quarter. The Tigers then stayed on the gas, nearly matching the Argonauts output for the half in just one 25-point quarter. Entering the second half, Riverside was down big with a score of 48-26.
Look around. Yellow bloomed flowers are in nearly every direction. They are seen reaching upward within clumped shades of green. Some will welcome them as a harbinger of spring. We know them as daffodils.
