NEW CASTLE – The Class 4A New Castle and visiting Class 2A No. 9 Triton Central High School football teams met on the gridiron for the first time ever Friday night at Neal Field.

Aided by Tiger mistakes on special teams, the host Trojans burst out to a 14-0 advantage with 5:30 remaining in the second quarter. But New Castle failed to score the rest of the game and Triton Central tallied 21 unanswered points and went back to Fairland with a 21-14 victory.
